    Course Length: 2 hours

    CFR Reference:  Best Safe Work Practices

    Overview:  During this training session, your duties conducting atmospheric testing are outlined as well as the possible hazards that can occur in a confined space. Also, you will learn about confined space awareness in a non permit confined space entry.

    Course Required by:  OSHA

    Perequisites:  None required.

    Course Objectives:  Upon completion of this training the student will be familiar with:

    1. Confined space awareness
    2. Non permit confined space entry
    3. Atmospheric Hazards
    4. Physical confined space hazards
    5. Gas monitor operation
    6. Bump testing procedures
    7. Types of gases able to detect

    Written Exam:  SMS requires a minimum score of 70%. Incorrectly answered questions will be reviewed with student to ensure understanding before completion of course.
