  • Medic First Aid® - Emergency O2 Administration

    Overview: This Medic First Aid® -Emergency O2 Administration supplement will provide students with the essential knowledge and skills necessary to provide emergency oxygen to a suddenly ill or injured patient until more advanced medical help can be obtained. The course is presented in a low-stress environment with video and hands-on practice training to develop knowledge, skill and confidence.

    Course Objectives: The goal of the Medic First Aid® -Emergency O2 Administration course is to help students gain confidence and competence with using emergency oxygen equipment in a medical emergency.

    Prerequisites: It is required that a CPR or CPR/First Aid training course be completed within 24 months prior to taking the Oxygen First Aid for Emergencies training class.

    Written Exam: None required

    Regulatory Requirement: As required

    Retraining: Every 2 years.
