One of the major success factors that contributes to Safety Management Systems' overall quality of medical service is the involvement of our medical director. Our medical director is available 24 hours/day for physician consultations with our paramedics.

Medical Director, SMS
Dr. Donald Thibodaux graduated from Nicholls State University with a B.S. in Chemistry in 1976. He then attended medical school at LSU Medical Center in New Orleans and graduated in 1979. Thibodaux completed his Emergency Medicine residency in 1982 from Charity Hospital at New Orleans. For the next 20 years, he practiced hospital based Emergency Medicine in Houma, LA.
